What are some plants that meet the following criteria?

1, Grow in dim, artificial light w/ no exposure to fresh air

2. Don't require special types of soil or food

3. Perennial

4. Potted

5. Frequently blooming

6. Fragrant flowers

7. Brightly colored

Trying to find a way to spruce up my tiny living quarters, and any suggestions of plants you've had luck with would be appreciated. I realize the last 3 may not all be possible.

What are some plants that meet the following criteria?
African Violets, Saintpaulia, don't need direct sunlight, and will bloom repeatedly with fairly low light levels. They're also perennial and potted plants, with a mix of flower colours, pinks, blues etc.

They don't have fragrant flowers though! So fail on this category of your interests.

You could also try a Spathiphyllum or peace lily, which will thrive in low to medium light: they flower better with medium light levels - so this will partly depend on what artificial light you have, and how strong it is. White flowered, turning to green is typical for these plants, although their whiteness is very showy. Sweet Paco is a fragrant version of this plant.

Good luck! Rob
