Anyone have advice about Sweet Laura plant?

I am about to buy one, and I just want to see if anyone had any specific tips a/b taking care of these plants. For example, hints to promote flowering, fragrance, seasonal tips, etc. Unfortunately, this plant will only have artificial light. Will that be a problem? Also, do I need to add any Miracle Gro? Is it ok that I'm getting it in late fall? Anything specific to look for while at the store?

Anyone have advice about Sweet Laura plant?
Are you talking about Sweet Laurel, otherwise known as Sweet Bay, or Bay Laurel, the tree? The leaves of which are used in cooking? That is a tender tree that must be indoors in the winter, unless you live in zone 9, and the secret of growing it is to make sure it has top light. Don't know about artificial light unless it is grow-lights.

There is a Peruvian lily (Alstromeria) variety called "Sweet Laura". No other sweet laura that I know about. Here is a link to that.
