Please help with my child's craft?

I need to buy a hat and decorate it with artificial flowers, plants, insects, etc. for my pre-schooler. The theme is Spring. I just have a day in hand to finish and submit. Please help me with ideas.Thank you.

Please help with my child's craft?
take your little one to the dollar store! let him/her pic out what they think need to go on the hat.

(within reason)

This sounds like such a fun craft!

have fun!
Reply:get a green hat and fake flowers and make a garden. get plastic bees to put on the flowers and maybe some butterflies :)
Reply:i would go to the nearest art store or even walmart pick up a few 99 cent fake flowers with an straw hat or a hat with weak materiels then cut the stem off and jus poke the flowers in to the hat then have ur child get sum markers and color on it he/she is jus in preschool so it dosn't have to be perfect.... let them scribble an bug or sumthin u kno?
Reply:Go to Michael's and get synthetic flowers there and then go to the dollar store and get plastic bugs.
Reply:I hope I am not not late in submitting my opinion.

Why don't you pastes three different colors of flowers on one side of your hat and paste a butterfly too somewhere near it.
Reply:Do you have a Dollar Store in your area? Go there and buy the hat for $1. Buy the fake flowers and all you need for just a tiny amount of money. Glue the flowers onto the hat, and make it a happy hat!
Reply:The easiest thing to do is to hot-glue some different nature items (artificial or no) to one of those cheap plastic top hats that you can get at a dollar store. You could also use paperclips or safety pins with a cloth hat! Just as long as it's colorful, I don't think it will be bad at all.
