I bought some artificial tulips for a vase for my sofa table. Are you supposed to display?

tulips only in the Spring, or can you display them all year long. If so, what kind of flowers can you put in its place for the Summer. I like the color red for this room. What are some good summer flowers to display? Also, how about for other seasons.

I would recommend using the tulip display only in spring, since it is a spring flower. For summer you could use zinnias, poppies, and of course roses. If you're willing to go with something other than red, you could use daisies, sunflowers or irises to name a few. For fall, mums are an option except that they're more burgundy than red. I think of poinsettias for Christmas, but not all winter. I would actually go back to the roses once Christmas has past since Valentine's Day is known for roses. And by the way, there are quality silk flowers out there that do look like real flowers. You just can't find them at the dollar store.
Reply:Mums in a red would be great for fall. How about red roses for summer? And of course poinsettias would be great for winter.
Reply:no matter what you do, all those things just look fake, fake, fake. You are just better off with nothing
