The kind that are grown over a period of time, using light, water, soil, etc. If you are to buy these types of flowers, you will need to water them, make sure they get enough sunlight, and nurture them. Artificial flowers are made of plastic and do not need to be watered, do not need to be kept in sunlight, and don't really need to be cared for. They both have their advantages and disadvantages, but I'd go with the real flower as it is more rewarding, even if it does die.
