How to make artificial flowers?

Gee - I just started this too. I located a great book on EBay - How to Make Crepe Paper Flowers by Dennison, It is an old book, but lots of people sell them It gives directions for a whole garden full of flowers. Most of the on-line links are for fairly simple flowers. I really like this book for more "real" looking things

I also started quilling - and it is a super easy way to make decorative stuff using paper

How to make artificial flowers?
You can use any tissue paper, or for waterproof flowers you can use nylon netting.

Fan fold a 4" X 4" square (6" X 6" for larger and so on) back and forth like a hand fan is. Secure middle with a rubber ban, tie wrap or wire, whichever you prefer. Once the middle is secure - here comes fhe fun part. Separate each layer towards the middle. And you have beautiful flower for a bouquet, on the wedding car, etc.
